A very Happy New Year to you all, welcome to our 2021 online seminar program.
During 2020 our online seminars in karate, kobudo and Okinawa sumo were very popular and so we have lined up a fantastic roster for January 2021, featuring some of the best Okinawan teachers. Thank you for your support and participation and I hope you can join us for the following events:

Karate kumite technique class with Toguchi Mineo sensei.
Former full contact karate champion of Okinawa teaches application of traditional karate for full contact kumite.  2000 yen per class, pay via Paypal.

SUNDAY, 17th JANUARY  FROM 10:00-12:00 JST
Hokama Tetsuhiro sensei – Self Defense techniques against common attacks.

In this online Zoom seminar, Hokama sensei will teach his favourite techniques for self defense drawn from Gojuryu karate and his extensive experience of martial arts including use of pressure point attacks. 
Hokama sensei is widely regarded as an expert on Okinawa and around the world in applying highly effective, very painful defensive techniques against larger stronger opponents. This seminar is open to all styles and levels of experience.

Advanced training with Arakaki Toshimitsu sensei
This is an opportunity for experienced Matsubayashiryu karate practitioners to participate in direct online training under the guidance of Arakaki sensei, 10th dan Hanshi. Suitable for Shodan and above.
Arakaki sensei will be teaching details of advanced level Matsubayashiryu kata and selected bunkai (analysis) and oyowaza (applications).
Participants are required to wear a dogi and belt and advised to have a suitable space available for kata practice.
